Some of you may have noticed that Lyceum 0.32 development has slowed down considerably. I’ve been traveling for the past week and will still be orbiting until the 17th. Thankfully Jameson has been keeping up with bugfixes and holding down the fort supporting folks on the mailing list and irc channel.
Fear not, soon I will return and get 0.32 rolling out the door. And let me tell you, this is going to be a nice release. Lots of new features and bugfixes, and also the best release yet in terms of plugin and theme compatibility. Stay tuned!

Hi,
TODAY now is finally the 17th - LOL, now am waiting for the release - LOL
I am looking at lyceum to install it on our server for mars scientists and space artists.
have been waiting now for some time to be able to start with lyceum - but - the last 2 days something is screwy even on the ibiblio demo site = suddenly my demo blog I created is now totally empty, everything I did disappeared, except the theme.
And it no longer let’s me login - ERROR always.
email to webmaster also came bacl -
si, I wonder whats going on - it does not seem to be safe enough yet to install and test the latest night version.
I hate to have to install WU, just so I have blogs - and then in one week you may be ready -
so, my question is: what timeframe do you estimate for the “better” version to be available, because once I install [either WU or lyceum - my preference would be lyceum of course - I then have to stay with what I have.
This creates a real dilemma for me right now because I was supposed to have the blogs installed last week and keep trying to push the deadline out.
I checked out the french site, and 90% of that lyceum site seems to be working fine.
How complicated would a “upgrade be from the current version to the “better” one you promised????
Thanks if you reply! - LOL
Regards
Michele

0.32 will be out very soon. The problems with the demo site were unrelated to the lyceum code and were a problem with our mysql setup.
Have you tried out 0.32-rc2? Try it out and try to find bugs! We are trying to make sure we squash all the bugs before we release it.
